Just a humorous observation that I wanted to share with my Lethbridge real estate audience. I was looking over some of my internet website traffic analytics, which is a fancy way of saying the people who came to my site and where they came from and why they came.
In taking a quick look at the numbers I noticed that I had an unusually high number of visitors who arrived due to searching the internet for lethbridge realtors yellow pages. In fact, compared to the Yellow pages themselves, for this particular search term I received only 16% less traffic than they did! Now comes the funniest part of it all.
I have always thought that Yellow page advertising was ridiculously overpriced and that the audience who actually reads them is virtually zero for every category except for Pizza, Plumbers, and Prostitutes (I coined that phrase by the way). Nobody every actually goes to the yellow pages looking for Lethbridge Realtors, they really don't. As a resulty, I do not have any of my contact numbers, my personal, or my business info in the printed phone directory and certainly do not pay to go into the yellow pages, yet still my little blog is eating up their traffic.
Just thought I would share that and wanted to brag a bit about my great internet traffic to my site. Thank you to each of you who happen to visit, it is what keeps me kicking the butt of those out of date forms of marketing.
